hi, same prob, checkd over many forums, the dpf seems 2 b the main prob, itll fell like egr valve, wen i bought my car i had probs right away on 55000 miles, i was tld get the dpf off, as it causes so many probs, car shud be remapped aswell meaning better fuel eco, if you renew dpf ur talkin £1000, but 2 take it off and remap engine £350, welcome 2 the dreded focus, hope this helps

ford originally did not produce the 1994 ford mondeo with fuel cut off switch. it was later improved in 2005 on the dashboard, after numerous deaths of drivers who died in fuel related fires but when i connected it up to the cars plug for the electic fuel pump no fuel was or is being sent . could it be 1.a fuse or solenoid 2.a ecu fault 3.the TPS (there is no glowplug light flashing ) 4.that the Fuel shut off switch is on (if so is it a toggle type or a push down lock type -and do i have to remove the rubber cover 5.something else
